Davis Management Group Provides Conference Logistics Services for Ranger Spouses Retreat

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – November 12, 2019 – Davis Management Group (DMG) had the honor of providing full-service conference logistics services for the Chaplain’s Summer Spouses Resiliency Retreat in support of the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment (1/75), Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Held over the weekend of Friday, September 20th through Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 at the beautiful Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, the three-day retreat hosted 75 Ranger wives and 102 children. The purpose of this training event was to reduce the pressure on the force, while enhancing the resiliency of the Rangers’ families, and to strengthen the family structure within the unit during the ongoing battalion combat deployment. It provided a space for the wives to meet, or further bond, with the other spouses as they gained a stronger sense of community and created a supportive network of individuals facing the same hardships and hurdles.

While the entire focus of this event was felt on a deep and personal level by the DMG staff that supported it, one of the main priorities was providing the most top level childcare services available. The wives attending this retreat were laser-focused on the beneficial materials and tools they were presented with, while being fiercely protective and concerned for their children while they were attending the general session. DMG understood that without premium childcare providers the wives would not be able to focus and engage in the sessions to ensure the most beneficial experience for all attendees; therefore, we secured the extremely knowledgeable and well-vetted company, Nanny Can, LLC, based out of Panama City Beach, Florida, to provide these imperatively important services. This allowed the children to be in a safe, secure and engaging setting onsite at The Westin, while the wives were able to completely immerse themselves in the resources presented while continuing to build unbreakable bonds.
