Providing Conference Center and Meeting Management Support for DHHQ

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Davis Management Group, Inc., (DMG) was recently awarded the contract to manage conferences and meetings for the Defense Health Headquarters (DHHQ). This will be DMG’s first time to support the mission of DHHQ.

Located in Falls Church, Virginia, the DHHQ is a product of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Act and was created to bring all of the Department of Defense’s medical leadership together under one roof. Its offices include the Service Medical Department Surgeons General (Air Force, Army and Navy), the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, and the Director of the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

Through this contract, DMG will be directly supporting DHA, which is an element of one of America’s largest and most complex health care institutions, Military Health System (MHS). As the nation’s medical combat support agency, DHA provides or augments medical capabilities of the Combatant Commands, the military services, federal partners and partners and allies around the world.

“It is great to be a small business and know that we are providing crucial services for such a large organization that takes care of a vital part of our nation’s defense: the health and well-being of our military,” says Erika Davis, CEO and president of DMG. “Though most of our day-to-day work will be done locally in Falls Church, what we do will positively affect the global medical missions of DHA, and that’s exciting.”

The primary focus of this contract is to provide timely, efficient and customer-focused access to the DHHQ Conference Center and the DHA-controlled conference rooms.
